Nuvali, Sta. Rosa Laguna

8:02 AM

Boyfriend and I went to Nuvali last February. Because I'm seeing good photographs of the place, I want to see it myself being its just near the metro, and we are budget conscious that time so this place is just perfect for us to celebrate Valentine's Day without breaking our wallets.

Getting to Nuvali:

NUVALI is located in the cities of Sta. Rosa, Calamba and the Municipality of Cabuyao in Laguna, part of the growth corridor of the CALABARZON Region.

At less than an hour’s drive from the city, you can experience everything NUVALI has to offer. It is accessible through several exits along the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX).

We went to the bus terminal in Gil Puyat in Taft, you just have to alight in Coca Cola Plant in Sta. Rosa. From there, there are tricycles that will bring you to Nuvali or Paseo De Sta. Rosa where factory outlets are. In our case, we went straight to Nuvali.
Activities:
  • Fish Feeding- feeds are available at the cashier booth for 15.00 per pack.
  • Biking- Bikes are available for rent for 60.00 per hour. Just make sure that you're wearing shoes, not sandals or slippers.

  • Boating- water taxi ride cost 30.00 per person for a roundtrip ride. We weren't able to try this because there's a minimum number of persons, around 6 persons per ride I think. In our case, its just the two of us so if we really want to, we have to pay for the missing 4 persons.

  • Bird Watching
  • Eating- there are lots of restaurants to choose from in Nuvali but I bet they are all pricey.
  • Running
  • Picture-taking - aside from all the activities mentioned, this is what we did best here. So take a look of our pre-nup like picture taking and see the beautiful Nuvali.

Its lunch/ merienda time!! We went to Paseo De Sta. Rosa to check out the outlets and there we had our lunch. Its just a tricycle ride from Nuvali, around  8.00 each.

After everything, we went to Sky Ranch in Tagaytay. Check out our cheesy Sky Eye experience HERE.

Nuvali + Sky Ranch, that sums up our adventure-filled Valentine's Day celebration. Hope this helps you on you next quick getaway.

P.S To the man who's always been very supportive with where I want to go, I love how you know I don't like flowers and chocolates, thank you for a day filled with adventures and love. Everyday is valentine's day with you. I love you

xx, Joyce
