Our Bacolod tour is mostly trying out Bacolod-only restaurants, so, most of our time was spent eating, even if we are not hungry. Because no doubt that Bacolod has one of the best tasting dishes.

When I landed the city, first on my list is to try a legit Bacolod Chicken Inasal and the famous Calea!!!

So  my friend brought me at Chicken Deli located in Lacson St. for our dinner.

After dinner, what better way to have a dessert is to try the famous Calea cakes!! Days before our trip, I am reading Calea blogs and that made me more excited in coming to Bacolod. And now that I'm finally here, I have to taste it right after I landed the city. So after our dinner, we went to Calea to taste the famous cakes.

Its soooo hard to choose from a wide variety of cakes. But, what caught our eyes on our first night is the Choco Mud Pie for a hundred pesos (PHP100.00) and White Choco Cheesecake for ninety pesos (90.00). Would you believe that? a slice of cake for a hundred pesos or less?

Yza also highly recommend that we try Cafe Bob's. So that's what we had for dinner on our second day.

We ordered Chicken Sate for PHP151.00 each, Buffalo Wings (because each time I see buffalo wing on the menu I automatically  need to order it. All my love for buffalo wings!) for PHP165.00 for us to share and the bestest drink ever, The Fruit Punch!! for PHP102.00 each. Didn't like their buffalo wings that much (still loves Conti's and Don Hen's) but the Chicken Sate and Fruit Punch?? Don't you dare not order it. Its for the win!!

Afterwards, ofcourse, we had our dessert in none other than Calea, again!!

Hey, Bacolod! Its only been days but I'm gaining so much pounds already! But, its not over yet.

On our third day, right after our trip to Mambukal Resort, we tried Byron's, located in front of Cafe Bob's in Lacson for lunch. Just take note that Cafe Bob's has a lot of branches but I cannot tell you exactly which Bob's I'm talking about here. I cannot help you with direction, but I can help you on what food to order. So, peace guys! :)

Here's what we ordered at Byron's:

We ordered Baby Back Ribs, Spareribs and Linaga. Yes, Nilaga is Linaga in Bacolod but with a twist.  And for the record guys, Byron's has the bestest, tastiest and cheapest baby Back Ribs!!! The meat is very tender and falls off the bone. A must when in Bacolod.

After that, we didn't had Calea, for a change, we tried Cafe Bob's for dessert

For dinner, my friend's cousin brought us in a small restaurant located in Silay City, Cafe 1925. The restaurant is so small that only around 4 small groups can fill the place. Perfect for an intimate dinner.

and a drink at Kuppa

Finally, on our fourth and last day, we had for the last time a Chicken Inasal at Chicken House.

Oh! Bacolod, you made me get all these in my belly. No regrets though. All money spent was worth the experience and food we had in this beautiful city. I just hope I can go back soon and experience more of you. On Maskarra maybe?
