Have you seen a real Panda? I haven't too that's why I'm so excited to check out the Panda Village. The setting looks like they're in a forest or jungle but since they have thick fur, the area is closed and air-conditioned. Lucky Pandas :) Scroll down and take a look at the cute Pandas.

I've been really excited with my first out-of-the-country tour and Hongkong it is. There are a lot of countries we considered including Singapore and Macau, the DIY way. And since we thought that 3 countries are included in the package that we availed, that's Hongkong-Macau-Shenzhen, we grabbed the package and for first timers in a foreign country, I think its much better to go on package tour. Its just on the latter part we discovered that the Macau tour is on our own account. Still, we pushed through with the tour.

Passport? Check! Ticket? Check! Pocket money? Check! Hongkong... Here we come!! :)

Since the flight is 8:00AM and being first timers, we're in the airport (NAIA 1) as early as 5:00AM. Talk about too much excitement. First thing we did was checking-in but they didn't give us our boarding pass yet because we still have to pay for the PH Travel Tax. After paying, we give them a copy of our receipt and they already issued our boarding pass. Last thing we did is pay for the terminal fee and then proceed to the boarding gate.

When we reached Hongkong, we were amazed by their airport, Hongkong International Airport (HKIA).  Its just so huge, we don't know where to go, we just followed everyone and every signs that we saw. And good thing our tour guide Jacky met us and brought us to the hotel where we'll be staying for 2 nights, Panda Hotel .

Upon arriving in Panda Hotel, we didn't check-in yet, we just left our luggage in the lobby and immediately proceed for Hongkong Ocean Park. And that made our first day in Hongkong.

Our second day is the half-day Hongkong city tour. We had our free breakfast from the hotel, a McDonald's coupon. For our city tour, we visited the famous tourist attractions in Hongkong, The Avenue of Stars, Jewellery Factory, Aberdeen Fishing Village and Midway of Victoria Peak (not sure of this).

The Avenue of Stars, modelled on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, is located along the Victoria Harbour waterfront in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hongkong. It honors celebrities of the Hongkong Film Industry.

Next stop, the Jewellery Factory, we were entertained by their staffs about how Jewellery Factory started. We were so amazed because he knows a bit of Tagalog. We were laughing everytime he speaks in Tagalog. The factory sells pieces of jewelries at a very low price.

Since we don't have any plans of buying jewelries, we waited for the others in the bus and had some photos outside Jewellery Factory. Next destination is The Aberdeen Fishing Village.

On one of the southern tips of Hongkong Island, Aberdeen is the largest satellite town with a population of about sixty thousand. It was a pirates' den two years ago and later turned into a simple fishing village. In recent years, with local high rise building developments, Aberdeen has modernized, and now it becomes a vibrant waterfront resort for people from metropolitan Hongkong.

There is a boat ride/cruise here for 50HKD but its not compulsary. We did not join the others for this ride since we're on a tight budget and the river is not that inviting at all. That is why we had a lot of photos here.

After this, we went to place which I don't remember anymore since were not listening to our tour guide. But this is where we bought some stuff at a lower price. I remember buying a HK Disneyland souvenir here and shared it with Krizza.

And our last destination, the Midway of Victoria Peak. The view was spectacular. How I wish we've been to the peak, bet the view is really breathtaking.

After the half day Hongkong City tour, we went back to our hotel and afternoon is our free time.
