This Baguio trip is the first for just the three of us. In the past, we always go on trips together with our families, but this time, I wanted it to be just us three. I know it'll be hard considering we're only going to commute plus you know how much things you need to bring whenever you travel with an infant. Zach's only 1year and 3 months old then we went to Baguio and I'm not good at packing when I became a mom so I tend to overpack and want to bring EVERYTHING!
This is the first time it's just the three of us so I wanted to make this trip as comfortable as possible. I did all the bookings and our itinerary because that's what I like most in going on trips.
MANILA to BAGUIO to MANILA
We booked a Joy Bus Deluxe class from Cubao to Baguio because we wanted a comfortable and spacious seat for all the action that might happen on the way because of how kulit the little one is. One way trip is 750.00 each. I'm thinking of booking a regular bus instead going back to Manila since the the deluxe bus is almost double the price of a regular trip but I don't wanna risk it and make the little one grumpy during the trip home so I gave in and book a Deluxe seat still. Whooping 3,000 pesos roundtrip for the hubs and I. Although, convenience really has it's price. The Joy Bus has a bus attendant, blanket, little snacks, has LCD tv, wifi on board, own restroom and is non stop.
THE MANOR HOTEL
I always wanted to stay in this hotel. It's my second time in Baguio and now with my own family so I really made sure to book a room here. I book a room in Airbnb since it is cheaper. The only downside is buffet breakfast isn't included.
We had dinner in Le Chef, the restaurant inside The Manor.

Date night with these two! <3 |
Although not included when you book a room through airbnb, we still had the hotel's buffet breakfast because we're not sure if we'll be staying here again when we come back so we wanted to make the most out of our stay here.

EXPLORING BAGUIO
My first time in Baguio is really very exhausting because the hubs and I really wanted to go to as much places as possible. We are able to go to so much places but that is the kind of trip I don't wanna do again. It's just so e x h a u s t i n g!! So this time, I still made an itinerary on where to go per day but we made sure to just go wherever we can. I wanted this to be as chill as possible given that we are with an infant.
- Camp John Hay
- Bell House
- Mines View Park
- Baguio Cathedral
- Burnham Park
- Good Shepherd for the bestest Ube Jam which the little one really loves.
- Good Taste and Cafe by the Ruins - wouldn't really miss these two when in Baguio.
It's the hubs and I's 4th Anniversary when we first went here, 5 years after, we already had our little one with us so we had to do a 2014 vs 2019 Baguio photos :)

Traveling with a baby made it more difficult and has more limitations now, but I wouldn't want it any other way and now planning to go on more trips with this little one!
