So the boyfie and I has the most relaxing weekend for his birthday. I've been wanting to go to Sonya's Garden for so long and good thing it's very near Narra Hill where we'll be staying so we decided to have our lunch before checking in.
Sonya's Garden is located at Brgy Buck Estate, Alfonso, Cavite. Going there is a no hassle. Just take the bus going to Nasugbu and tell the driver to drop you off at Buck Estate. From there, you just take a tricycle going to Sonya's Garden.
Reading from blogs in the past, the restaurant offers a sit-down-buffet style, but when we came, they already have a buffet table where you get your own food. I prefer having the buffet table though so you only get the amount of food you can consume rather than serving each course on your table. Yes you can still ask for more but what if you can no longer finish what was served? Which happened to us because the bread and the spreads are being served per table which we did not finish.
We had their buffet lunch for PHP 600.00 each. We were warned they do not serve meat. We agreed, I really wanna try Sonya's Garden. First we were served with bread and spreads and fresh dalandan juice which I really love, it's so refreshing I had too much of this. Then we proceed to the salad buffet which I also love because of the fruits and Sonya's secret dressing. For the main course, I think they only had pasta with different kinds of sauce, and fried salmon. For dessert, they had two kinds, camote cue and turon.
After lunch, we roam around the place and took photos around the garden.
After lunch, we went straight to Narra Hill where we'll stay over the weekend. Narra Hill is located in Laurel, Batangas. Since we had lunch in Sonya's Garden, we just took the tricycle going to Alonso then a single motorcycle each to Narra Hill. The tricycle from Sonya's couldn't take us straight to Narra Hill because the road is too steep. We also got the Kuya's number so they could fetch us on the day of our check out. If you're coming from Manila, just take the bus to Nasugbu and get off in Alfonso.
We booked the Balcony room through AirBNB. The room is just below the parking area. Once you enter the gate, you will see the stairs going down the room. The room is a little secluded from the other rooms which are near the infinity pool.
Take a look at the Balcony Room.
Since Narra Hill still don't have its own restaurant, this is where we always had our meal. Few weeks/ days before your check-in date, they will send you set meals to choose from which is PHP 600.00 each.
Here's what we had for dinner.
Breakfast was also served at the balcony. But before breakfast, here's what greeted us when we woke up.
It was indeed a perfect morning paired with a good breakfast.
After breakfast, we changed and had a quick dip in the pool. The pool is located near the other rooms. It is small but doesn't get crowded since guests take turns I guess. When they see other guests are in the pool, they wait for them to finish. So even if it's fully booked, you won't feel it's crowded and most likely you won't see the other guests as well.
We also visited the area where weddings are being held. The area can hold up 200 people and they only accept 1 reservation for an event per day. The whole resort will be closed for the event. For more details about their wedding package, you may click here.
Before our check out, the staff let us write first on their notebook some feedback/comment about our stay. I had no bad things to say, I just hope that they'll have their own restaurant in the future so guests have more meal options. It was short but a perfect stay, just exactly what we both needed and worth the price we paid for.

The Balcony is my favorite spot because why not? Take a look!!! A breathtaking view of Taal Lake just outside our room.
